The Norwalk Hwa Rang Do/Tae Soo Do Academy is proud to build strong memebers of the community and provides students with an education in self defense with firm grounding in ethics and etiquette. Ethics tenets include Humanity, Justice, Courtesy, Wisdom, Trust, Goodness, Virtue, Loyalty, and Courage. Hwa Rang Do is a comprehensive martia art. Students learn all aspects of these ancient Korean martial arts, including punching, kicking, weapons, grappling, falling, joint manipulation, and sparring. Students benefit from increased physical fitness, mental concentration and memory, good judgment and level-headedness, ethics and school etiquette, good citizenship, and self-defense skills.
